"This park is our usual spot when we need a break from it all. It’s such a chill place with a really nice lake, perfect for zoning out and relaxing. The park has this calm vibe that’s just right for a quiet walk or just sitting back and enjoying the view. It’s pretty popular, but even with other people around, it doesn’t lose its peaceful feel. Definitely a go-to in San Jose for some quiet time and a bit of nature."
"I’ve been going here for many years. As a child, we used to spend summer days swimming in the lake all day (back when one was allowed to swim there). It’s still a nice park to walk around now and I’m glad I can share the park and the memories with my wife and dog."
"Went for a family fun event. All was ok. Needed more games and definitely needed to give out more candy to kids and dressed up adults. We got 1 piece of candy for the child. Food stand was expensive for someone with 3 kiddos. For 3 to 5 dollars popcorn, hot dogs and nachos could have had a little more substance. A little more popcorn in the bag and more chips with enough cheese for the chips would have been nice for families. Classic Hocus Pocus movie was a nice touch but not as kid friendly for the littles that I went with. Please work on the bathrooms as they were dirty and broken down. Poop was smeared all over the side of the working toilet. With paid experience wanted and only 1 dirty and broken bathroom to use... that may be a reason to not back next time."
"A very nice park with a lake in the middle and a few trails that surround it. It has plenty of picnic areas, bbq, and a playground for kids to play. The park feels safe. Pros: The picnic areas are separated so you don't get bothered by other groups. Cons: The parking fee. In a side of the park, you can park on the street. On the other side of the park, that option does not exist."
