Reviews of Santa Cruz Surfing Museum
"Been to Santa Cruz many times but never seen the Surfing Museum lighthouse. Only 5 minutes from the Boardwalk. My wife and I loved it. It’s free and so cool with old boards and photos. It’s a resting place for a couples young son that passed away surfing in 1965. I highly recommend it. Amazing setting ❤️"
"A fun stop on a road trip down the High Way one and a must for any surf lovers looking to learn more about the history of surfing. It covers a lot of interesting stories from the perspective of the Santa Cruz surfing community and connection to Hawaii. The opening hours are sometimes hard to catch so double check before going, they usually open mid-day!"
"While visiting Santa cruz, I have been wanting to check this museum out. Unfortunately, Google was wrong and said it opened at 10 but didn't open til noon. We weren't able to check out inside the museum, but we still were able to have a great view of the coast and surfer watch, which wasn't too disappointing."
"I've been here many times, but I've never seen it inside. It's just a place where I sat on a chair and drank a drink and enjoyed the sunset and the rising sun a lot. It's a place where you can enjoy the surfing of many surfers and just make you feel happy when you see your dog running on the wide lawn. I hope you take the time and enjoy the time someday !! It is priceless !!!!"
