Reviews of Mocho Park
"Large playset with swings, slide, climbing structures. Can get quite busy before younger kids' afternoon nap time & after school gets out. The Arroyo (Creek) runs right by the park's northern edge, so use caution when bringing small children as there is currently (February 2024) still a lot of water flowing. This is not an off leash park for dogs, but there are typically dogs off leash (as well as a few on leash - thank you!). Cement picnic tables, but no bathrooms on site. Lovely green area for free play, or team sports. Street parking, no parking lot on site. Park is kept clean. Easy access right off of First St., Convenient 580 freeway access."
"Cute lil park."
"Broken beer bottle, empty liquor bottles by/in the playground. Play structure needs to be updated and/or replaced."
"This one is surprisingly hard to get to by bike! The map looks like you can cross over a creek bed when dry or under a bridge but its a solid 60 degree climb/push or a duck/crawl. Park is wide open and has interesting trees, play structures, and table choices. Didn't seem particularly well maintained grass/garbage wise but that's only in comparison to the ridiculously well maintained LARPD standards I've come to expect."
"This is a decent older park. It has tad bark vs. a rubbery ground cover. It has two regular swings, two baby swings. The play structure is best suited for kids 4-5 +. My daughter is almost 2 and she can manage the stairs to the main slides, which are steep, but she's brave. Some other features she just too little for. There's a small slide but it has a rough texture so you don't really slide on it. This is my closest park, so we go here when we are short on time. There is lots of open space around the play area with nice picnic tables. There's no bathrooms. It's clean and kept up."
