Reviews
"Beautiful trail, easy to access, sufficient parking lot."
"Although it's the dry season, the air smells great, the creek beds are still beautiful and the trees still give great shade. Pool is great. Basketball courts are well maintained for a friendly game."
"a nice trail, good shadows in summer. You can see fossils in the park, walk along the stage road, after cross the creek for the first time, there is a small road in the meadow on the right. Following the road with 300 feet you will see the cliff with fossils. Or if you cross the creek for the second time, just turn right and follow the creek you will see the cliff soon. There is a rectangle stone on the ground (5th pic) if you open it (6th) you will w see two big clam fossils. Keep them closed, it will stay longer. Don’t collect the fossils,so others will get chances to see them."
"Beautiful park at the base of Mount Diablo. Love that dogs are allowed on all trails here and even allowed off leash on the Stage Road trail. Stage road trail was very nice, gentle rolling hills, but lots of stream crossings, so may not be stroller-able after heavy rains/in the winter."
