Reviews of Coyote Hills Regional Park
"I love going to this marsh with my dog. There are beautiful trails and many parking spaces available. The bay looks gorgeous any time of the day from here."
"Yes, there are many places with marshes and views of the shoreline from the peninsula to the east bay. But this place has many trails and you have a clear view of the San Mateo Bridge to the west and the Dumbarton Bridge to the east. As the terrain of the hills in the east bay really traps the wind in, I recommend you wear a beanie if you don't want hair in your face and your ears to freeze. Some of the hills are quite steep; you won't be able to see over the hump, much like a roller coaster. This is especially true if you decide to go off the beaten path for a shortcut traversing the hills. There are strategically-placed benches at the higher heights. You can see the ocean and there are some unnatural colors from the algae. There is a wooden plank path through the reeds and there is a large bike path near the water too. Then, there is a beachy area with estuary birds and the meringue foam in the water. Two parking lots from different park entrances"
"This is a great park for everybody. There are several trails ranging in difficulty. The park is spacious so I didn’t encounter much of any human traffic during my solo hike. I hiked the Quail and Bayview Loop. It was an easy 3 mile 1 hour hike. It was a scenic and peaceful experience for me. Hopefully, I get to visit this park again."
"Perfect place to watch sunset. Very stunning view. Dog friendly! This is “Quail & Bayview trail” It’s loop. Can be done within 1hr. Very relaxing! Plenty of parking space. Parking fee $5 Dog fee $2."
