"I was here at 12:20pm on Sunday in August. Blue skies about 75° I parked in the shade by the creek because parking was completely full. I was napping in the car smooth until somebody lit a campfire. The park is always fun; the trail is fun hike too."
"Great park to relax with family or friends. Love how many trails there are but majority are not walkable sadly! Overall a decent park for small gathering, will definitely continue to visit ."
"I use to go to Carlos bee alot . BBQ, hang out , hike , ect. It's always been nice and shady on hit days. But haven't been there for years. Today I went and it changed so much. It's clearly not well kept anymore. Shady vibes. Alot of homeless ppl. Trash. Ect. I am a fit male and walk my pit so I don't worry much but I was thinking if I was a female wanting to jog walk ect I would not go here."
"Nice park. Very near to Hayward Japanese garden. Best to use it during your Hayward Japanese garden trip to visit this park for family lunch . Place is kids friendly and have kids play area. There is big covered picnic area along with washroom. Park has access to some very good trails and hiking places. Only drawback is parking is limited and at the entrance of the park."
"Cute little place. Parking lot is about 1 minute shaded walk to the playground and picnic area. Decent picnic tables under the shades. Bathrooms are available but a bit dirty. Has a little area where you can walk down to the creek."
