"This area hosts lots of cool community events, all within a few feet from the Little Farm and miles of Berkeley-Oakland trails. I went for the Tilden Fungus Fair 2024 and it was a great mushroomy time."
"It is a great place to have the annual Fungal Fair. A very unique community space."
"Nice place to bring your family here. The number of animals have declined over the years. There seem to be less each time I come back. You can bring lettuce or celery to feed the animals. No other vegetable is allowed. If you are not interested in animals then go to the visitor center, which is more educational. There are also trails nearby that you can hike."
"Attended a two years old birthday party not far from the Little Farm which was fun to see for adults and children. The grassy area was perfect for children to play and enjoy the perfect outdoors from early afternoon to after six making for a nice celebration."
"A very nice area with many hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and a lot of fun activities for family and kids. There is a farm where kids can feed farm animals. There is also a fun steam train ride around the forest with very nice views. Along the roads and hiking trails there are multiple viewpoints with a panoramic view of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge."
