"Beautiful and peaceful place to get your zen on"
"Nice playground, many activities also has a basketball court. And a big area to bbq above the park. Although there are no restrooms."
"I grew up in this neighborhood and watched basketball nets oscillate between white nylon nets and grey metal nets -- sometimes (too many times, actually), the basketball rims would go netless. Did the ball go in or not? Who knows. As for the play area (next to the basketball courts), I remember getting splinters when everything was made of wood (back in the 90's). And emptying my shoes a countless amount of times -- still managing to find residual sand when I got home. They've definitely upgraded this place since then. No more splinters (it ain't wood no mo'). No more sand (feels like some form of rubbery foam?). Moreover, they've added benches. Nice benches. You know we all love sitting in parks after long walks at the beach. Or long walks in general. 4.7 stars. This place puts the "Hollywood" in "Little Hollywood." And I'm grateful this is here."
"Basketball courts, kids playground with an adult swing I am waiting to be reinstalled, picnic tables, grills, stairs, hill, mini trail, plenty of grass, dogs on leash allowed, friendly neighborhood and a black cat that'll beg you for pets or belly rubs. ;)"
"There is a parking lot next to the park. Muni options are scarce, but the park is three blocks from the Bayshore Caltrain station. The only Muni route close by is the 56-Rutland; exit at Blanken and Nueva, then walk one block south along Nueva to Lathrop Avenue and the park."
