"I wish, in hindsight, I'd talked my mother out of it. Her issues have only worsened. Beware ANY unusual medical treatment plan that requires thousands paid upfront, then continues to drown you in exorbitantly priced vitamin BS, vitamins which (in)conveniently can only be ordered through the medical office. The staff were friendly, but there were considerable calls never returned, and now quite obviously never will be. Whether there were good intentions or the whole thing was a sham/scam, the end result is the same: a lot of vulnerable people, likely on fixed incomes, divorced from a good deal of their money, and much, probably most, of the "91% success rate" boiling down to the power of suggestion at the time of tabulation."

"I went in for fibro and discovered my problems were from food sensitivities and allergies. They helped me figure that out but charged me over $5000 in a bundle for allergy testing and a glorified TENS unit and heating pad. The allergy testing helped relieve some of my pain but the TENS/heat actually increased my pain to the point I had to go to the emergency room and miss work I was in such pain. When I told them I couldn't tolerate the TENS/heat (I only had 3 treatments at over $150 each and was charged for 26) they refused to credit my "bundle" for the treatments I could not tolerate to receive. I was seen by the chiropractor several times and he did help me with my food sensitivities but an MD only charges you for when you see them, they charge you as they see you and treat you. I had this problem once before with a chiropractor that "bundled" treatment. I never received all the treatments I paid for, he was "too busy" to do them all. I saw the chiropractor (all he did was talk to me, just went over my lab results and food diary) for three months with about 20 visits which comes to about $250 per 15-20 min visit, plus my insurance was billed for the lab tests and it paid over $1000. I was told when I signed the contract that if I was unable to tolerate the any part of the treatment I would be credited but when treatment was complete and I asked for the credit they would not honor their agreement and I still hurt too bad to fight them. I'm about 50% better by avoiding the foods from the tests. If you can find someone to just test you for food allergies and sensitivities you can save yourself $5000. Also, the room they put you in for the TENS/heat therapy plays disco music, the last thing you want to hear when you are hurting so bad any noise grates on your nerves. For the price I paid for the TENS/heat treatments I could have had a wonderful relaxing massage with quiet relaxing music twice a month for a year, instead I got nothing except frazzled nerves and more pain. The TENS may be great for neuropathy but not for my problem and I don't think it is right to charge for something that makes someone worse instead of better. I am trying out Dr. Axe's program for leaky gut, his book "Eat Dirt" makes sense and it's $16 on Amazon and his supplements are fairly reasonable compared to the above and if you don't like them you don't have to buy more. I think chiropractors have a place, I just wish they weren't so money oriented, every one I've ever been to has always been about getting you to spend more money. I can see my regular MD without insurance for less than what I was charged. If they had refunded the money I paid for the treatments that I couldn't take I wouldn't be writing this but it seems it's all about money to them, they promise you the world but when they refuse to come through you're still expected to pay. Would NEVER recommend them to anyone that didn't have money to throw away. Now if you're loaded, please go, they'll be happy to take your money but if you're a single woman who's spent everything to try and figure out what's wrong they are not the place to go, they just take the rest of your money. If they had even offered to continue seeing me to make up the difference I wouldn't be writing this. THEY DO NOT CARE (except for your money). I had gone to see them a year before and had a bad feeling but I was hurting so bad the next year I decided to give them a try-BAD decision."
