Refugio Valley Park

"This is a beautiful park with a pond with wildlife, trails,picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground for kids. It's a nice safe location with free parking."

"Spacious park with plenty of parking and friendly people around. Great for kids and picnic but they don't have much area with shade. The park leads to other bike trails with smooth pathment that's ideal for teaching kids how to bike"

"Great park. 2 different play structures in between a large grass field. Walking or biking path around entire area. Hidden creek to explore. Public restrooms. Duck pond. Large parking area with handy cap parking and access. Watch out for the groundhogs! Update review, Aug 2023: Hercules has cut down all the lovely trees that were providing a lot of shade and comfort to the park. Also I'll include pictures of the toddler park, which is in desperate need of a safety check. The squished padded ground is mangled and unsafe with large pot holes and cracks for tripping. This needs immediate attention."

"Refugio is a wonderfully small family park. Perks: a beautiful pavilion, a lake with a fountain and plenty of lively avian activity to entertain and delight the locals; not to mention the nearby convenience of a major hardware store, grocery store, fast food franchise, and street side food truck. Need I say more. Check it out and don’t forget to wear your smile!"
