About the Corona Heights Park
Corona Heights Park, located in San Francisco, California, offers some of the best views in the city. Visitors can enjoy a carpet of wildflowers in the spring, including checkerbloom, California poppy, and Douglas iris. The park is also home to the sensitive Johnny jump-up flower, which is the only host plant for the callippe silverspot butterfly. Keep an eye out for the anise swallowtail butterfly, known for frequenting the hilltops of San Francisco.
The one-mile trail network at Corona Heights Park winds around the hill and leads to the summit, providing a 360° view of the San Francisco Bay Area. The trails consist of stable, sometimes steep, dirt paths with box step staircases. The trail leading down to the 15th Street tennis courts is the most challenging section with steep terrain and loose gravel.
Parking is available at the Randall Museum, limited parking is available at the 15th Street tennis courts, and street parking is also an option. MUNI lines 24 and 37 stop nearby for easy access to the park.
Please note that both the North and Peak trails at Corona Heights Park are currently closed due to storm damage. Stay tuned for repair timelines. To report any maintenance or vandalism issues at the park, call 311 or visit the website for more information.

Reviews of Corona Heights Park
"Beautiful space with great views of SF. Tennis courts, pickleball, basketball courts, kids playground with slides and swings and sand. Great spaces for dogs to play too. Not a lot of parking."
"we climb to the top once per year for a family ceremony. a special place to step away from the minutiae and see the city for all its beauty"
"The place I definitely go to unwind from the world. Breathtaking views of the city from up above. it's also where I took my 1 year clean and sober photo!"
"Despite not being very tall, Corona, like all of San Francisco peaks, is special in its own way. Youths of all ages linger here, taking in the view of downtown, as if surveying the scene from the Sierras. Rugged rocks tower over a dog run and a special stair case down to the Castro."
