"Our 6 month anniversary is creeping up so this review is obviously long overdue, but I can’t possibly end the year without thanking Spring Ranch and their team for their amazing support and communication through the year in planning for our wedding and weekend stay. We chose this venue for its massive 40-acre property and abundance of magical nature surrounding the two vintage Victorian houses. My partner and I really wanted an outdoor wedding with eucalyptus trees as our ceremony backdrop and well, SR gave us that and more. There aren’t very many venues that can give both that enchanted forest and ocean side feel, but that’s the beauty of the North Coast. The white Victorian house provided ample accommodation for our wedding party and parents while we enjoyed privacy in the red carriage barn before and after the wedding. And only 20 steps away was our ceremony site and reception—like the young Miley once said, it’s the best of both worlds. It saved us time and energy to have everything on site including photo and video opps… just beautiful! Almost all of our vendors (coordinator, rentals, catering, DJ, cake, florist, transportation and bathrooms) had experience working weddings at Spring Ranch so it made it a lot less complicated to have to explain and train them up on the place. The event barn already had two restrooms, but we rented more just because we had a 180-person guest list. The venue can comfortably host around 400 guests, our rentals guy said. We thoroughly enjoyed our venue tour with the owner, Derek Webb, who gave us the history of the barn and space. Spring Ranch’s awesome wedding coordinators Christine & Aubrey provided detailed maps to make it easy for our guests and vendors to get around as well as Victorian house room details for us to pre-assign rooms. Oh and some more pluses: they have a jacuzzi at the Victorian house AND they’re pet friendly! Our two pups, a Sapsali Terrier and CKC Spaniel/Papillon, were able to partake in wedding shenanigans and photos! This made it even more special for us. Only negatives that we’ve shared with the team are: no WiFi/phone service in the ceremony or reception areas and a few rooms in the Victorian house are lacking outlets. Aubrey acknowledged that they’re working on it. ❤️"

"Could not have asked for a better wedding weekend spot! We loved being able to have our guests at the same venue for the weekend and be able to stay onsite. Our guests were wowed by the natural beauty of spring ranch and it was a picturesque place for picture, cocktails, ceremony and more!"

"Spring ranch is a super cool venue for couples who want a spot to do a long weekend wedding with some of their nearest. It has beautiful tall eucalyptus trees on the property and the light streams in really pretty through the magic hour. The house is also gorgeous for getting ready photos. Definitely recommend! One of my favorites in Mendocino to photograph at. xx"

"Spring Ranch, WOW, so many great things here. I am a wedding photographer and videographer and this place is a dream to document someone's special day. A huge plus is that Spring Ranch has enough space to house over 20 guest, which for me makes a great opportunity for a fun journalistic approach. For out of town guests, there are many things to do in the area, like hiking, secluded beach access, site seeing and local shopping with Mendocino just a couple miles away. This venue has it all and is truly a fantasy. Dramatic backdrops of the pacific ocean, golden honey colored grass fields for those gorgeous sunset pics, majestic trees in the eucalyptus grove, a large stone patio with a beautiful fireplace, well preserved historical buildings that can also add to the photo textures, and of course the 2 story barn which is just beautiful. Another plus is the private bride and groom quarters which is separate from guest lodging for privacy. What more can you ask for really. It's really all set up well. I hope this helps anyone that is looking for a venue from a wedding photographer's perspective."

"We had the most amazing wedding weekend at Spring Ranch Mendocino! It was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests are still talking about how amazing it was. Communication was smooth with the Spring Ranch team from the get-go. Everything from the venue and guest housing, to all of our vendors, turned out perfect. The grounds were absolutely stunning, and being right across the street from the ocean makes for amazing sunsets. We were worried about the unpredictable North Coast weather, but the great thing about Spring Ranch is that there are options for the ceremony and reception to be indoor or outdoor. We loved that everything was on site. We had our rehearsal dinner there, wedding ceremony and reception, and a separate bride and groom suite in addition to on site guest housing. It couldn't have worked out better! Highly recommended!"
