Holston House Nashville - Rooftop Pool & Bar

"We loved staying here! It was the perfect location to be able to walk to all things Nashville. The vibe was great and all the staff were super friendly. This was the best hotel gym I’ve seen!!! I really loved all the plants and greenery everywhere. I would definitely recommend this spot!!"

"I must first say that the rooms are very nice. The service and the availability of food and drinks is unfortunately another story. We stayed nights at this location and we had our room cleaned and bed made clean towels one time. I texted them to let them know that the room still was not serviced and I received an answer that they would be taking care of that. They never did. They did however ask if we needed anything and I told them we needed clean towels, coffee cups and our two bottles of water. Someone did bring those things to the room. The night we arrived we went to the pool bar. The bar server was very nice. The first two drinks my husband attempted to order they did not have the ingredients for, I attempted to order a drink they did not have the ingredients for. Then we attempted to order barbecue flatbread and they did not have the ingredients to make that either. Later that evening we went to the bar inside and the first drink my husband ordered. They did not have the ingredients for, and the drink that I ordered, they were not able to make either. All of these drinks and food items were on their menus. The next day in the afternoon at the pool bar I asked for a glass of iced tea. I was told they don't have any tea at the pool bar. The only options were tap water in a pitcher or alcohol drinks. For the cost of the room, my opinion was that it is not worth it. Also, the pool area is very small and there was not an available chair to be found anywhere. We actually are coming back to Nashville in a week for business for six nights and we were going to stay at Holston house but have now made reservations at another hotel."

"Old school art deco hotel in heart of Downtown Nashville. On probably the hottest day of the year I was wrapping up a long walk around the Gulch and feeling dehydrated. The doorman welcomed me into their AC for a cool drink of ice water, a frosty margarita, and a few songs by request from Kelsea Ballerini from the guitar/vocalist duo. Thank you to the lovely bartender and talent. I'll definitely be back!"

"i have been to this rooftop bar/restaurant countless times and have never seen anyone swimming. EVER. is it just decor? definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing a towel and just hopping in."
