"Met Courtney and some of the crew at the home show. All were very nice. Called within 2 days to schedule full house and vinyl fence cleaning. 2 hours tops and both look fantastic. Price was reasonable so will definitely have them back."
"Marshall Cleaning Service did a phenomenal job on cleaning my air ducts today. They were extremely professional and very efficient. I could feel the difference in my home almost immediately. I would hire them again in a second!"
"I hired Marshall Cleaning to clean my air conditioning ducts as well as my dryer duct. My dryer had been taking as long as an hour and a half to dry clothes. I assumed the reason was that the dryer duct was clogged up. When the crew arrived, they cleaned the a/c ducts without any problem. When the tech got on a ladder, outside of my house, he inserted some kind of air hose into the dryer duct with an attachment that spun around very fast. I was concerned when he did not go inside my house and remove the dryer duct from the dryer itself. But, I assumed he knew what he was doing and let him proceed. About half way through the process, the tech asked me to turn my dryer on, which I did. He continued to push the air hose into the duct until it stopped. The crew removed the air hose, at that point, finished cleaning up and left. However, when I attempted to dry some clothes that night to test the dryer, the dryer was completely dead. In spite of pulling the dryer out and everything that I did, the dryer never worked again after that day. The following morning, I attempted to take the old dryer apart to find out what was wrong. But, I was never able to get it apart without doing severe damage to the dryer. I gave up and went to Lowe's and bought a new Amana dryer. In all fairness, I was mad as hell!!! I called the owner of the company that morning and told him off! The other owners of the company attempted to call me and apologize, but I never answered the calls. That same morning, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (Complaint ID: 20804164) and put up a 1 Star review of their company on Google Reviews. I knew I could not take Marshall to small claims court without providing the court with some physical proof that they were responsible for the damage. Considering the small cost of the new dryer, I chose never to pursue it. If a new dryer had cost several thousand dollars, that would have been a much different story! So, in place of asking for them to reimburse me for the $606 cost of the new dryer, I asked BBB to get them to at least refund the $79 they had charged me for cleaning the dryer duct. About three weeks later, I received a message from Marshall Cleaning through BBB. Below is a copy of the message they sent me that day: "Mr. Shamblin, You shared with us that your dryer did not work properly before we ever came to your home. In your google review you admitted that your dryer was "no good any way." I understand that you are not satisfied with the cleaning of your dryer vent line. You claim that our dryer vent line cleaning pushed debris into your dryer. Our system that we use to clean does not "push" air towards your dryer. It pulls dust, debris and lint out to the outside exit point. We always clean from the outside and pull debris out. In an effort to have this matter resolved I will mail you a check for the $79. I have attached a picture of the check to be mailed and will put it in the mailbox once you have either removed your 1 Star google review or edited it to a 5 star review." The end result is that I let Marshall keep the $79 and I kept the 1 Star review with Google Reviews. Let this be a warning to anyone who has Marshall or anyone clean your dryer ducts. Either make them first remove the duct from the dryer or do it yourself beforehand. Otherwise, you may wind up like me! Also, make sure you document EVERYTHING any company does to your property, especially if any damage is done! That way they cannot come back and say they are not responsible like Marshall did."
