"Great Service - Five years on- still HAPPY! We had nightmares trying to deal with various chimney folks and our old fireplace/chimney. House was built in 1962, chimney had some thin cracks, but city inspection felt it was sound. Long story short, in 2016 Sooty Goose was recommended to us by a neighbor and although their prices are not cheap, the quality of products offered and the service/installation provided was excellent. Our unit functions perfectly and has since day one. We went from having a fireplace that we couldn't use and was an eyesore to having an insert that heats the main part of the house efficiently and with very little smoke output."
