"I regularly go to this location to practice and play tennis. Pros - It's usually a good spot to go if you can make it midday, both courts are generally not in use. People present are pretty nice in my experience and you can probably get a pick up game if you're not a creep. Bathrooms nearby, and a water bottle refiller. Men's restroom is decent, doesn't stink, hasn't been vandalized. Seating for each court, but it's a single bench. Cons - The courts need resurfacing, and the lines repainted. This can be more apparent when pickleballers draw lines on the courts, making it hard to call fast serves in or out. The nets need some maintenance - the net headband on the E street court needs to be replaced, and the court near the bball courts needs to be tightened as it is about a half inch below 36" in height at the midpoint. An additional bench, once for each side would be nice. The E street entrance needs to have a piece of wood or extra chain link added to the bottom of the gate. Balls will escape from the gap, and breeze down the sidewalk or into the street. The chain link fence is really crusty and rusted. If you use it to stop suddenly from sprinting for a ball, beware, you might need to get a tetanus shot afterwards. Wind can be a problem on this court, even on sunny days."
"Would be nice, except the city worker that was cleaning the bathrooms wouldn't let my 5 year old in to use the restroom, because he said he was in a hurry and needed to lock it up right that second."
"It's a fun little park that accommodates a few interests. The kids got a small but fun playground, a small community garden, there's two basketball courts, a tennis court, and a small field for running around our or organized sporting of some kind. The only thing I think it could use is more greenery. But there's not a lot of space for that."
"Really enjoyed this park with my son. However, there should be more seating available for the parents. It was clean and had restrooms available also tennis courts. We will definitely stop by if in the area, maybe with some tennis racquets and balls."
"This park has something to do for all ages, there is a playground for the younger kids, a basketball court and tennis courts for the older kids and adults. Also there is a small field for everyone to run around and have fun."
