"When anyone asks us about shopping in Ruston, the first question we ask is, “do you have any small children to shop for?” While shopping in Downtown Ruston is great no matter what you’re shopping for, it is exceptionally fabulous if you’re shopping for a child, because of Garden Baby. One breeze through their store and you’ll want to find a child to buy something for. Every article of clothing is not only extremely cute and fashionable, but thoughtful as well. Sustainable, organic, recycled, hand dyed and made in the back of the store by Megan and Staci, this is the magic behind Garden Baby. The clothes are the star of their operation, but the toys, books and decor all follow the mission of low impact. We’ve also enjoyed seeing their special guests, their special decorations for holidays and we can’t leave out the BUBBLES! Ruston is lucky to have a store of this caliber in downtown, but to have an entire clothing line designed and made on site is spectacular and special. We love sending new customers to them. She took it a step further and suggested things I didn’t even know I needed! She was incredibly thoughtful, very knowledgeable, and it was an absolutely wonderful shopping experience. I wasn’t even in the store and it felt like I had a personal stylist catering to me. I’ll definitely be buying more from this awesome local business!"
