"Got dinner for 3 of us. Nothing had any flavor. Lemon chicken and sweet and sour shrimp both taste like bread. Everything was bland, almost gross. Never going to waste my money again. Wouldn't recommend for dog food at this point."

"Had the place all to ourselves on New Year’s Day. We were a group of 21. Service was amazing. The food came out fast and everything was delicious. 12 of our group was kids and the staff were very accommodating and patient with the kids. They brought out chocolates and cookies for the kids at the end. We had a great time. I loved the chow mein, very flavorful. Beef with broccoli and general chicken were my favorites."

"We were seated promptly by a very pleasant woman. She accommodated a request for something special on our food and it was done properly. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. The prices were very reasonable. One additional thing was the tons and tons of local art on the wall for you to enjoy viewing while eating your meal. I would definitely recommend going there for a meal."

"The Szechuan Restaurant has been in the same spot for over 30 years. They haven't changed the decor of the restaurant since they first opened. Before Google maps and reviews, this restaurant used to be the place to go for Chinese and Szechuan style cuisine. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. When a restaurant no longer cares about the product and service they provide, it is very apparent when you visit the restaurant. Apparently, vegetable chow mein now included chicken. The general chicken was flavorful, but the chicken was fatty. With a remodel and a new cook, this place could be a Chinese food destination that it once was. IG SACRAMENTOHONEY"
