"Coming from a background of little to no knowledge about hair, I greatly benefited from Jaime’s wealth of knowledge about various types of hair products (and how to use them) along with different hair cuts and styles that are popular amongst her customers. Before coming to Jaime, I was always apprehensive about getting a hair cut due to concerns about it not turning out the way I wanted. The apprehensiveness also stemmed from a terrible experience I previously had at another hair salon that was mostly due to my inability to properly communicate what I wanted. For a very long time now, I have been searching for a hair stylist to whom possesses the knowledge and experience to (1) understand the general hair cut and style I am trying to go for (with the little context I can provide) and (2) be able to evaluate, suggest, and recommend ways the cut/style I want can be improved or suggest other cuts and styles if the one I suggested seems like it wouldn’t work out with my face shape. And after going to Jaime, I am confident enough to say that I have finally found the one!!! During our initial conversation about the type of haircut I was going for, Jaime gave me great reassurance that the cut I desired would look good on me while also providing suggestions and options we can try to make it look even better (while of course not being pushy about it)! Jaime also keeps “you” in mind throughout the entire session by thinking about your normal hair routine, maintenance, and how long it has been since you had your last cut. She also takes the time to explain every product she puts in your hair, and puts in the effort to answer your every question to the best of her ability while also dropping tips and tricks here and there.
