"Luscious Dumplings is a self-seating Chinese Japanese fusion restaurant that is close to Disney and the Convention Center. The person at the counter was courteous and pleasant. I went during lunch time, there really wasn't anyone else there and only a few people came in during the 45 min I spent there. The place seemed closer to a fast food place then a sit down. I got the Shrimp Dumpling Ramen and Xiao Long Bao. The food was good for someone from out of town, but seemed pretty average for Southern California. It wasn't a bad experience, and would recommend if you want something quick."
"The custard piggy buns are so cute and delicious. I also enjoyed their pork and wonton ramen noodle. The broth was really good. The only dish that I didn’t like was the pot sticker I ordered. It came with a sauce, and I chose curry just to try it. Next time I won’t be doing that. Otherwise it was good. It’s a bit difficult to find parking!"
"It's good but highly expensive. I have eaten cheaper dumplings with the same satisfying taste. 2 dollars for each little dumpling. The vinegar sauce they offer here is authentic. I suggest you try it instead of using soy sauce."
"Just tried the newest branch in Anaheim and the dumplings hit the spot on a chilly night. Ordered the original xlb (Xiao long bao), crispy pork pot stickers, steamed chive and shrimp dumplings and a scallion pancake. The crispy pork pot stickers were the best of thr three with one side nicely browned and the other two still soft. The xlb was good, but didn’t have as much soup inside as others that I’ve had. The scallion pancake was so good, I could have ordered another one. As for sauces, the spicy chilli oil and garlic vinegar were the best. Somehow spicy mayo does not belong with dumplings and neither does sweet and sour (tastes a lot like the bottle of sweet and sour chicken sauce). Yuzu is good if you want something bright and lemony or just go old school and mix black vinegar with soy sauce adding chilli paste if you want some kick (there’s ghost pepper powder available). Street parking is a little difficult to find since it’s right around the corner from Disneyland, but you can park at the Hyatt hotel and get a discount for validation (from the hotel). The place is actually on Katella and not Harbor, but it is one of the few shops on the street level. If you passed Walgreens, you’ve gone too far. On a side note, the Michelin reviewed one is the store in Monrovia and they also have the full menu."
