"We didn't catch on immediately after seating that the menu is on QR code. Although it was after 1:30PM, there were enough new arrivals that kept the sole waitress busy. The venue has a robotic server to help. The food arrived promptly after ordering. In comparison with other Chinese vegetarian restaurants, this one is much more generous with oil and seasoning for my taste. It is my personal preference to have less oil and seasoning, but if that fits your own taste, this is a good alternative. Portions and prices are in line with most Chinese restaurants."
"Crispy oyster mushrooms are always a must. Be prepared for the salt but enjoy the food."
"One of the best vegetarian Chinese restaurants in the city. We had a delicious feast and every dish was flavorful and satisfying + great service."
"My vegetarian fiancee was in heaven... Tasty and savory Chinese classics that are all plant based. Food is served family style so bring friends. The tastiest of dishes for me was the ones without the "mock" meat... Pineapple fried rice (subtle sweetness and not overly fried) and the crispy deep fried tofu with basil (amazing dry seasoned tofu with spicy marinated Thai basil). The Minced Squab in Lettuce was a great appetizer too with a blend of flavor and texture."
"The traditional Chinese vegetarian dishes are so hard to make. The ones that I normally went to are out of business within a few years. Happy family has an all you can eat menu, but they don't offer it on the 1st and 15th of the Chinese calendar. Better to call them to confirm if they offer the all you can eat menu that day. The dishes that I ordered were just ok. Checked in Yelp get a free desert."
