"This is a really unprofessional and unsanitary environment to have your children in. Human Resources doesn’t even respond or care about people, wouldn’t even so much as respond to my calls or emails. Worked here for two days long enough to see these kids are neglected and are kept in a disgusting environment like a dog pound. Doors had feces smeared on them, staff were ignoring kids and on their phones. I would never allow my child to be sent there."

"Norris academy is a wonderful facility for treatment. We strive for progress, not perfection and this is something I remind the kids daily. I have worked there for several months as a therapist and I see how hard the staff work to help these kiddos. This is a hard job, no doubt, but the staff work tirelessly and give their everything for these kids making sure they get gifts when deserved, rewards for A/B honor roll, treasure box items after group therapy, and get to go off campus when deserved on outings in the community like bowling, Chinese buffets, the park, the mall, etc. Staff and administration make sure the kids get fun things like haunted houses, winter formals, get to see Santa, etc. These kiddos are provided with the continuous support of staff and of the therapists and I have seen first hand the change that Norris Academy has made on these kiddos."
