"review got deleted- so Im posting again. also, notice that company did not have a review for a long time, then all of sudden have 3 good reviews in a row, after I post an accurate review. please read each review carefully. Fair review (not a bad review) posted originally 10/2022 1. ADU Project was promised to be done in 6 months, it got delayed (COVID & 10 other excuses they can come up with) and eventually never finished. See pictures- this is what they finished in 8 months. 2. Left project unfinished with partial floors, unfinished kitchen & bath, cracking stucco, missing roof , open trench and trash all over the place (see pictures) 3. There are weeks when no crew would showed up and I received no communication from company. 4. After collecting deposit, owner Raul visited the project once (to collect $$$) , project manager Anthony Visited 4-5 times over span of 8 months. 5. Raul (owner) and Anthony (project manager) Will not return numerous phone calls or text messages, but they will be calling you when Payment is due and ask for money ahead of schedule. 6. Contract had to be terminated for failure to perform. I highly Recommend this company, IF YOU want your ADU or construction project NOT be completed, or to go over budget , or if prefer contractors who don’t show up, make broken promises and don’t answer your calls/text."

"I contacted California Building innovations and met with Raul. I was looking into converting my garage into a small rental unit but was hesitant after reading comments from other contractors. I explained my goals, we created a plan and within a matter of weeks Raul designed almost exactly what I had in mind. I am very thankful and grateful for how everything went.
