Reviews of Sudsy Pups Small Dog Grooming
"Sudsy Pup has been very satisfactory. My Shi Tzu has problems with hair in his eyes. They do a wonderful job with his hair trimming. They are courteous and I am very happy with their service."
"I asked for a TRIM of my 17 week old Cavapoo, Duke. This was my first time with a groomer for him so I told her I was reluctant but she assured me. Came back to see a summer cut. SHAVED in the middle of December. Do not bring your 4 legged family member here. THEY DO NOT LISTEN. Upon looking at their FaceBook page, it appears this is the only cut they know. See for yourself. This is Duke before and after I asked for a TRIM."
"The absolute worst dog grooming place I have ever been. I asked for a trim and completely shaved my dog at the beginning of winter. He’s already shaking when he gets home and the groomers are blaming me for the shaking, horrible customer service, and employees. They will just do whatever to your dog and take your money."
"Amazing people! I totally missed an appointment and they called and rescheduled it the next week like it was no problem. I know how booked they get and they still took care of my and my dog. I would recommend the ladies at Sudsy Pups to groom anyone’s dogs!! Me and Mylo thank you so much:)"
"In addition to making me feel unwelcome and not appreciated, these people made me feel like I was Michael Vick bringing my fighting dogs in for grooming. We have an 11 month old Goldendoodle that has never been aggressive. We actually had brought him in about three months ago for grooming at Sudsy Pups with no issues reported. The lady that checked us in and out should not be in a customer service role at all. Totally unable to communicate in a nice, appreciative for my business way. She said that they were afraid of my dog and ended up having to muzzle him and ultimately were unable to finish the grooming services. Also, she suggested that we need to maybe bring him in more often (he's is 11 months old and this is his second time) so he would be more comfortable, and get this, I don't necessarily have to bring him here every time! Yes, she actually said that. Nothing I love more than being appreciated as a customer. I didn't really respond at the time. I paid my slightly reduced bill including a 20% tip ($72) and went on my way. After getting home, and trying to find another groomer to complete the job, I noticed a very red and irritated gouged out area of clipper burn around his butt that was obviously causing him pain and discomfort. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that might have something to do with why he acted aggressively? If someone did that to my rear, I'd be pretty aggressive as well! I do understand that it is common for dogs to growl and sometimes behave aggressively in that situation and it may be necessary to muzzle them in order to do the work. I get it, I would be uncomfortable too. I would not, however, make my customer feel bad and unappreciated as a result. Especially when it may have been my fault to begin with!"
