"This place super dirty: Look up in the restaurant roof, you can see how dirty lamps and light are: There restroom is extremely filthy dirty and its smell terrible: I order a dishes cost, $15, they decide given a new chinese pork belly dish to tried, and I told them was not very good, and I should not have to pay: she package it up and tell me to take it home to my wife: pork belly was super sugary taste, to sweet for my blood. They are unprofessional: Total Bills should be on $15 and they charge $42.00 I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN:"
"Love this place! We've been searching for a new chinese food place since the pandemic killed Mandarin Villa. Lo and behold, in the same spot, a great new place! Newly remodeled, great food! They need a little more help on the floor, food came out fast and hot but hard to get the overwhelmed staff's attention at times. I would love to explore the menu more!"
"Best in Tracy, new owners, new decor and most importantly very delicious new menu! Been there several times and food is always very good. Used to live in the east bay and we have been waiting for a restaurant t9 open that has authentic Chinese food, this place is legit. They even have a Dim Sum menu served daily. Try it once and it will be your new favorite place, guaranteed!"
"I'm updating my review. Went for dinner with my girlfriend. Placed our order and had to wait a very long time for food. She ordered soup and they brought us the wrong one. Took it from our table and gave it the table that arrived after us. Another waitress came by to verify our order. Then they did it again and brought the wrong soup. Finally on the 3rd try the brought the correct soup. In the middle of receiving the wrong soup. They have a fire or paper burning in the kitchen. So they opened all the doors and turned on the AC to air out the place. But it was a very cold night. So we had to get our jackets back and and ask them to turn off the AC that was blowing on me. My girl was also served her wine with a dirty glass. Ans ask to chnage it out and they never did. After having some soup we asked about the rest if our order that didn't come for another 1/2 hr. Others seated after us were able 5o come eat and go. Terrible service and food was OK. The previous owners had much better service and the food was better also. I'm Nevergoing back."
"We went here tonight for the 1st time. We had read the reviews and wanted to try this place. This is the old Mandarin Villa location (I’m talking about the original not the 2nd version - sorry digressing) The redecorated inside is nice decor and feels welcoming. Tonight they were understaffed. I think a few employees did not show up so the owner (very nice women) was doing the best that she and the limited staff could do. They were pretty busy overall. The food tasted good and was presented very nicely. Our biggest complaint was that everything came out all at once. May not sound like an issue or problem but usually when you order soup that would be served first and you would have time to enjoy your soup before the meal. Our soup and main dishes arrived at the same time and by the time we started eating our main dishes they were warm at best (actually more like cool). We did not complain because it was Christmas Eve and we could see that the owner and her employees were trying their best. My advice is just space out the soup and/or appetizers from the main dishes. We ordered Wor Wonton Soup to start and ordered the Singapore Noodles, Tofu and Vegetables, Sliced Chicken with Basil and King Pao Chicken with some Steamed Rice. All of the food was very tasty. We will be back again to try other dishes. We will be back to try again."
