"I didn't know that they had remodeled the interior since the last time I visited (probably three years ago). It looks so bright and welcoming now. We also received green bean slash on the house."
"Cozy hunan rice noodle place with decent stir fry dishes too. This time we ordered the luo-si noodle hotpot with 26 skewers and absolutely loving it. It well fits 2 people with average appetite. It has a bowl of rice noodle for you to add in on the side. The 26 skewers include 16 skewers of protein and 10 skewers of vege. Things include beef, shrimp, beef tripe, squid, pig intestine, seaweed, sausage, mushroom, beancurd, etc. portion is huge to me! We underestimated the dish size and we also ordered the special stir fried hui-guo meat. Also a dish we recommend and fits with white rice. It is spicy though. We can finish 4 bowls of rice with the dish ! We boxed most of the dish back home. They have all kinds of rice noodles which are not spicy if you like nonspicy food!"
"Really good food. When I saw it had 3.5 stars I felt it had to be pretty good. When we went every table was full. I really liked their pork belly noodle, the soup was super flavorful and the meat was yummy. But ultimately my favorite dish was the classic tomato egg and scallion pancake. I know you can make tomato egg easily but it's just so good. Egg is fluffy and I think they probably add sugar/ketchup because it's a bit sweeter. Scallion pancake is perfectly light and crispy. I went here for the first time and liked it so much I literally went again the next day haha. They also give free peanuts which is a plus."
"Great restaurant and very authentic food! Very good atmosphere and customer service❤️ I absolutely love the deep fried chicken with peppers and peanuts! If you want to try out authentic Chinese food, this is your go to (and it is not as spicy as it seems to be)! The deep fried bun dipped in condensed milk has been my all time favorite since a child. Strongly recommend trying it! I am excited to try out the noodles when I visit next time."
"Came here at 5pm right during opening on a weekend and there was no wait even without reservations and we were the only ones to arrive this early. The ordering experience is awesome and all performed online but no need to prepay. You can pay at the end all together. The century eggs appetizer was delicious with creamy eggs and tofu in a nice spicy sauce. The signature noodle dishes were good however they didn’t quite eclipse perfection. Noodle texture quickly became soft and mushy from overcooking in the hot broth. Flavor was also a little lacking but asking for some spicy sauce on the side, was able to salvage it. Also the amount of protein given was quite a small amount, would have appreciated a little bit more. Overall, it’s still a nice place if you’re craving Chinese noodles as there’s plenty of noodles, enough for a second or third meal when you take it home."
