Paws Pet Sitting

"First of all, I have never left a negative review for anyone, but I feel in this situation I don't want anyone to go through what we experienced. Nathan was hired to watch our 4 dogs recently, 3 of which are older and laid back and 1 puppy. When we met to go over things he was shown the room he was to spend the night in & all house logistics. It was explained to him that he was expected to spend the night and that our puppy could not be crated for longer than 5-6 hours at a time. Through house cameras we discovered he did not spend the night at all, he came 3 times/day for approximately 30-40 minutes each time and our puppy was crated overnight one time for 13 hours. When we arrived back home, the house smelled like poop and a lot of laundry and clean up had been done. When I confronted Nathan, he said he did not know it was mandatory to spend the night, he thought it was optional. I explained to him what we saw on the cameras and he claimed it was a lack of communication on my part. I was unaware I needed a written contract because last year he took care of our two other dogs, he spent the night and we had zero troubles. I paid him double than what I paid him last year-I felt with verbal instructions and having used his services before that I wouldn't have had these issues. In the end, I reached out to him several times with no resolution. I do not recommend Paws Pet Sitting to anyone that loves their pet."
