"My daughter purchased her gown with Ila and her team and honestly, we were blown away at just how welcoming, personal and warm our experience was with them. This shop is truly unlike any of the others in Nashville and surrounding area that we visited. Instead of my daughter feeling uncomfortable (or even sometimes judged), we felt like we were instantly with longtime friends who really cared about what my daughter envisioned for herself on her wedding day (and were also experts about gowns). They took the time to listen, really hear her, make her feel amazing about herself to ensure that she was confident about her purchase and how she felt in her gown. We didn't once feel like we were being sold to, or just another number for them that day. My daughter left feeling her absolute best and we know she's going to look and feel amazing on her big day thanks to their help! I cannot thank Ila and her stylist's enough for creating a one of a kind shop that cares about their brides enough to curate an entire experience that feels like a big hug! Moms - if you're looking for a bridal shop that's simply better, this is the one for you and your daughter!"

"I recently visited Ila's Bridal Boutique for an appointment to support my sister who is getting married. I was instantly shocked because Erin, her stylist, was more interested in closing a sale than ensuring my sister was 100% confident about choosing her wedding gown. For most women this is one of the most exciting days of their lives and have been dreaming about trying on their wedding dress since being little girls. In this case, that little girl is my sister and she was so excited to try on dresses and see what she loves and feels good in. Her stylist was quick to narrow her options, repeatedly asking, "is this the one?!" For such a special day I feel like the bride-to-be shouldn't be limited to trying on dresses, rushed, or her buying decisions be manipulated. The stylist emphasized they do not do holds and the dress "could be gone tomorrow." Her fear tactics worked, because within an hour of leaving the store my sister was distraught and regretted her purchase. My sister was the last appointment of the day and the stylist was obviously eager to be done with work. My sister called the owner, Ila, immediately upon opening the next morning. I thought for sure that the owner would be understanding and empathize with a bride-to-be and not want one of the most special days of her life to be anything but that. With that said, I'm shocked to say Ila refused to refund my sister's payment and said it was the industry's standard even though the dress was still in their possession and could have easily been sold to someone else that day. As a business owner myself, I suggest that if you don't want to feel pressured, rushed, or manipulated during your special bridal gown search there are other stores in the area that oppose this strict, unethical, and unreasonable policy and are genuinely interested in helping a bride-to-be find her perfect gown."
