"Don't deal with these people. I paid for a Tiny House months ago and paid in full. They said it wasn't ready because it failed QA inspection, then changed me extra for shipping. To top it off it got lost and damaged in transit for over a week and they said I have to accept it or give them a 25% restocking fee. How about I sue for treble damages for unfair business practices."

"Very unhappy with this purchase. We purchased the Duramax building products Woodbridge Plus 10.5 ft x 13 ft D Plastic Storage Shed online from Wayfair. We assembled it a few months after receiving it. We had a significant 22” snowstorm a few months later and the roof suffered heavy damage I called and sent an email to the company, we were told the warranty does not cover damage due to “forces of nature,” such as high winds, hail, and excessive snowfall. The installation manual states that the roof is rated for a snow-load of 20 pounds per square foot, or approximately 4” of snow. Any more than that will cause the roof to collapse. You said that 22” of snow accumulated on your roof, which is well beyond the threshold that the roof can take, resulting in the collapse. Because this is not covered under our warranty, you will be charged for your replacement-parts order. Please provide a list of parts you will need, so that I may send you a quote for your order.” We never would have ordered this shed if the online advertisement had clearly shown it was not suitable for the northeast region due to the 4” load limit. (4”-12” is a very typical snowfall for this region of the US) As a 63 year old , I would never purchase something that would require me to climb a ladder to shovel the roof off in the middle of a snowstorm once the snow reaches 4”... or multiple times during a heavy snowfall .. that’s ridiculous!! We feel we should not have to pay more for parts to repair this shed, which we had already paid good money for and took a good deal of our time to put together in the first place It had only been up for a few months before the roof was damaged We have another plastic shed ,right next to it ,that has been through over 20 winters with no damage whatsoever. We have not received a satisfactory resolution to this situation that doesn’t require us paying even more for parts repair something that was newly assembled and not clearly shown it would not be appropriate for our region. Getting new replacements parts sent to us is not a solution (even if they had agreed to send them free of charge) .. we would still have to reinforce it with beams ourselves to make it stable This is not what we wanted for our purchase ,we bought this to store our riding lawnmower .. which would not be possibly with reinforcement beams installed We would like them to @refund us and arrange to take the damaged shed away if need be. Our brand new shed is now a real mess it looks terrible and is unusable for the purpose we bought it for .. we will have to add beams to prop up the sagging roof and will not be able to store our riding lawn mowers in it as intended. A very disappointing ,aggravating experience and transaction."
