Dyer VFW

"Usually I have no problem with renting the VFW for events but since this was the first time renting since covid the air unit is broke so it's 80 degrees in there and we are having a birthday party for my 1 year old great niece and we will have alot of elderly people that shouldn't have to sit in the heat Had I known this I would have just had the party at my house or at the park. It's cooler outside than it is in that building. I know things happen but I'm my opinion things should have been checked completely before renting it out. I also feel like we should get a refund on the money we had to pay because our sweet girl will end up being miserable from being so hot. We have brought fans from home to help cool it down but idk if it will be any better or not. I'm just frustrated because we have spent hundreds of dollars for her 1st birthday and nothing will stay hanging because it's so hot and the balloons keep popping so everything is looking terrible. I'm just hoping when guests arrive we can at least enjoy a little bit of the day."
