"I highly recommend Cornerstone Coverings. Cornerstone and its owner, Hector Varala, did exceptional work at a very reasonable price and that is only the beginning. Hector came recommended to me when a prior contractor simply ghosted me after agreeing to do the work and stringing me along for a year. Hector was completely the opposite and a godsend. Hector’s work is beautiful (more on that below). But he also is incredibly honest, hard working and kind. I had a lot of damage to my home from some tenants who had occupied my home for 4 years while I was away. Once I found Hector and Cornerstone, he was able to give me recommendations to other tradespeople/contractors to do the various parts of the work (for which I had been previously ghosted). What all of these contractors had in common is their incredible decency, honesty, wonderful customer service and outstanding work - just like Hector himself and Cornerstone. Hector worked with me to get exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford, kindly and patiently answered my many questions and truly went above and beyond. I am actually grateful I was ghosted by the prior contractor because it led me to Hector. And the countertop Hector and Cornerstone fashioned and installed is truly beautiful. I had a particular type of edge in mind but then talked it over with Hector who advised a different edge. He was so right and I am so glad to have had his expert advice. The countertop (and sink he helped me pick out and that he was able to find even though the one I wanted was no longer manufactured) looks incredibly sophisticated and makes my small kitchen look spacious. It is truly beautiful. The edges and backsplash are expertly done. The countertops have been in for a few months now and, every once in a while, I still do a double take at how beautiful they are. I simply cannot recommend Cornerstone highly enough. Hector is true to his word and simply outstanding."
