"This store is not a Home Depot or Lowe's. But it is well stocked, has helpful staff and is a lot easier to get in and out than one of its larger competitors."

"Overpriced BUT, very cool store. It's an ACE even though Google calls it Alamo Hardware. They have ALL the trinkets and little knick knacks you didn't know you needed but they ALSO have a full actual hardware store upstairs. There is an elevator too. Plus free lolly pops at checkout."

"This store to be as great and of a similar style to the hardware store it recently replaced - OSH (Orchard Supply Hardware). In contrast to the big box hardware stores, this store offers great prices and great product selection along with very friendly and highly available sales clerks. However, I think the big box stores may still offer more lumber and more services to big commercial contractors."

"Horrible experience. Went in so excited to see our new community Ace Hardware. Customer walking around without mask on. I told the employee and they saw him and continued to allow him to stand in line and check out behind me unmasked. When I asked him to put his mask on he said he didn’t have to. At least six employees standing there as he said masks did no good and he didn’t have to wear one. The employees allowed this. My family, 30 years in San Ramon will never step foot in there again."

Finally a Ace hardware where you could find the smallest of items easily or with a helpful staff willing to assist well layer out floor plan on multiple floors and a good sized outdoor garden center. Of course everything you need in one location"
