"I liked this place so much that I’ve eaten here 3 times in the week I visited San Diego. I’ve had tacos and tacosqueso. I’ve had al pastor (for east coasters it’s meat that’s prepared on a spit like souvlaki), carnitas, pollo and bierra (sliced beef). They’re all delicious. They have 4 homemade salsas. The one with the red spoon is the hottest. They’re all tasty. And there are two that are reddish brown with vegetables. They’re smokey and flavorful with a little bit if heat. Oh don’t miss the fresh marinated spicy carrots!"
"I love the tacos here! Carne asada, tripa and birirra are my go tos. I like that they have salsas to choose from. The place is quite small so sitting in can be a little cramped. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the rice and beans, the rice is a little salty which seems to be a change from last year when I went. I don't think it justifies a lower rating though because the tacos are so good."
"Loved the pollo tacos and the salsa bar is a plus. I mostly stuck with the flavors on the tacos (onion, cilantro and guacamole salsa) but the limes were a nice touch. The food tasted so fresh, being all made to order. I would come back!"
"Not worth it. I ordered two tacos, one al pastor and one birria. The total was $8.51. At $4/taco, you’d expect them to be wonderful, but they weren’t. In fact, they were pretty average tacos The real issue was the wait. The restaurant was nearly empty when we visited. Why, then, did it take 25 minutes to get two tacos? Absolutely insane wait; even if the tacos were great, we would not return just because of the delay"
"This place was so good and well done! The service was good and took our order fast. We only waited about 10 minutes for our food so not that bad.. the inside is super cute with a welcoming vibe. We ordered a Adobada Mulita, 2 Carne Asada Tacos, 1 Carnitas Taco, and 16 oz of Birria with flour tortillas. The mulita was delicious and packed with flavor! The carne asada tacos were actually impressive with a great grilled taste, the carnitas taco was not impressive, okay flavor, kind of cold and the meat was dried out. But the Birria was delicious! And the flour tortilla it came with was home made. It had good flavor not the best I’ve ever had but pretty good. The horchata was also delicious and tasted authentic. I’ll definitely be back!"
