The band has a continuous pattern all around and had previously been cut off his finger so the only way to size it was with smooth gold. After talking with a lady employee and the jeweler who would be making the repair, we decided to add some small diamonds to the gold. I left it up to the jeweler as far as how to design the ring. When I picked it up I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Not only was it gorgeous but it looked like that was the way the ring was actually made and not a repair.
