"Our previous preparer of over 10 years spent time with us and explained line by line what was happening with our return! Sarah Patrick did NOT do this! The receptionist made us feel like we were not appreciated! Sarah did not fill Mary Harston’s shoes in any way! We use H&R Block because we work and just don’t take the time to handle ourselves! However we will use the Tax Program next year and file ourselves! I was not advised about preparations for next year’s deductions which is a main reason I pay a preparer! Also when we returned to pay our preparation fee the receptionist did not want to accept a money order! She could not find our folder and we spent 20 minutes waiting for them to accept our payment! Horrible customer service!"

"DO NOT TRY THE VIRTUAL OPTION UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH PERSONAL INFO BEING AT RISK! We have used this location for 17 years and haven’t had the first complaint until this year. What they do not tell you when selecting the virtual option is that though the system accepts your virtual appointment with an agent and you upload documents at same time, that the agent may not be able to assist you nor does it mean your documents were received by the agent. On our end, we had selected what date we needed to file and chose out previous agent and it took the appointment as if she could work on it that day. We uploaded documents and everything had a check mark as if it was good to go. We were even receiving messages from our agent through the app about signing this and that electronically. Only to call up there because of an issue to find out that the agent hadn’t received any of our documents and then asked to resend every document via email. Even though everything was showing as it had taken it. Finally 4 days after initially starting our tax claim it was submitted to the IRS. It is very concerning to think about the type of Personal information one is submitting and the apparent dysfunction on their system. As I am immune compromised and the current COVID issue, we felt this would be the best situation but now I regret it due to the uncertainty of personal information being safe and nonchalant response to my concerns with the system by the agent. Unless it is a dire necessity, do not use their virtual option as apparently there are numerous kinks and therefore your personal information could be at risk!"
