"If you’ve seen the Pujol episode of Netflix’s Chef’s Table; this will be your most attainable barrier of entry to chef Enrique Olvera’s cooking. After that it’s his adjacent restaurant Damian, and then just booking a flight to Mexico City. Ditroit’s menu changes up fairly regularly, but you’ll always have great tacos available, as well as tamales, quesadillas, and other elevated versions of Mexican street food staples. The refreshing palo santo cannot be missed. Note that this is a literal hideaway location, like a small tacoasis if you will."
"Food: Sudadero tacos, broccolini and carnitas tacos Drink: Cucumber Yuzu agua fresca, Topo Chico Large size portion compared to street tacos (obvi) and the price reflects it. Meat was tender and flavorful. Could tell it was quality ingredients. Broccolini was crispy and peanut mix was a fun crunch. Two “hot” sauces available; green and red. Neither of which were particularly spicy. Fresh made tortillas were excellent. Tacos were more oily than expected. Agua Fresca was refreshing and would get it again. Location is hidden away in an alley. I had to ask a nearby business where the taqueria was located. Not sure what people are complaining about regarding service. You order at a window and they bring out food. That’s should be the extent of your service experience. Realized after visiting that apparently this place is by way of chef Enrique Olvera, best known for Mexico City’s Pujol and New York’s Cosme. Makes sense for pricing. I found it via random google search for a nearby location."
"Wow wow wowww!!! This place is AMAZING and I can't wait to be back in the area to eat here again. Run don't walk to get an order of carnitas tacos and a fish flauta. The flavor is wonderful and everything is so fresh. The guacamole was also absolutely perfect, had all the right spices/salt, and they just really know what they are doing here. The churro y chocolate was wonderful--the chocolate is not very sweet and it tasted great with the fresh churro. I also had the Horchata, which was perfectly flavored with cinnamon and sugar. They also have a little salsa bar with deliciously spicy green and red salsas. The price is worth it if you want a spectacular, but simple meal. LOVE this place! Seating is outdoors and parking can be a little spotty, but I would come to this place again in a heartbeat."

"I ordered the Suadero tacos, shrimp tacos, fish flauta, and the lobster cado. Shrimp tacos and fish flauta - must order. The saudero was very good, but also fatty which is just not my preference. The cado was extremely flavorful, and in a very small container end but even that small container was too much. I would recommend just giving the cado for free if people want - 1 to 3 spoonfuls just as a taste before eating dinner. Horchata was not too sweet and is made with amaranth."
