"Some good Pupusas and Horchata Salvadoreña, right under the roof where I work at!!!! SLAUSON SWAPMEET"
"I know the chef . He's great"
"This place has the absolutely best tacos. The owner is my favorite cook. He is always nice and fast. When Im tired of chicken i only eat his tacos."
"place is a gem. They have several dozen varieties of dumplings. All frozen so you can take them home and stock up your freezer. There are vegetarian options, and a variety of meats as well (chicken, shrimp, pork, lamb, etc.). They have menus printed with a listing of the dumplings. It 's worth knowing that they may sell out of a particular type of dumpling, so it's good to have some back up options. I really like their soup dumplings. Give this place a try. If you don't speak Mandarin or Chinese, it's not a problem, English is spoken."
"The customer service here is awful. The first time I stopped here I was told I couldn't order because they were backed up. I only saw one person at the counter but ok. Fine. Today I stopped by and politely asked if I could please have a fork. The woman behind the counter rudely told me "No. We don't have any." Ok. "Then may I have a spoon?" To which she repeated "No. We don't have any." She didn't make eye contact, barely acknowledged that I was standing there and acted like she was disgusted to be in my presence. I had a salad and was thinking of buying dessert or something to go with it. Do you think I'll ever attempt to spend money here again?? I don't like to play the race card but it seems like this establishment chooses to only serve their own. Even in passing I've only ever seen Hispanic people at the counter. It's not right to treat people that way regardless but how they plan to do this in an area where 85% or more of the consumers are black is beyond me. I'm sure they'll be out of business soon. And *if* I am wrong about them being rude to blacks then they are still just rude in general."
