"I brought my vintage 1950s Kenmore machine to this shop for full service, and I am very pleased! It sews like butter now. I'm 5' 0" so shortening jeans is a common machine sewing task at my house. You need a quality sewing machine for this task, because a jeans hem is 3 layers of denim, and even more at the seams. If the stitches don't look good, the jeans just aren't as stylish. I've just hemmed a pair after getting my machine back from the shop, and the stitching looks great!! If you love your machine, take it to Albert, and he will take good care of it."
