"Used this office for years to do my taxes. The place has completely went off the rails. Tyler the owner is never in the office and is impossible to get in touch with. I call over and over and the phone is never answered. Just ending an email has become an activity as I have to send each email several times. The secretary Susan is amazing she's the only positive in the office."
"Tyler the new owner is never available phone/email and he isn't an license CPA in Tennessee. A California office does the returns for this office.Susan can't answers tax questions and takes days to reply. My boss will find an local CPA firm."
"I cannot express in words how terrible of an experience this was. I told Tyler Banta that this was my first year filing taxes as a self employed person and needed everything broken down. He assured me he would help me and walk me through everything. He was not accessible for most of the process, sent my taxes to California to an accountant who disappeared in the middle of my return, and I had to be assigned a new one. There were 4-5 different contact points in this process and absolutely no communication. At one point I was talking to someone in the Philippines. I was also swindled into joining their program. I received nothing that was promised and they even tried to make me stay in my contract although it was not upheld on their end. This was honestly a traumatic financial experience for me and my new accountant was shocked at how my taxes were completed for last year. Tyler is a salesman. Avoid this place at ALL COSTS."
"***They send your tax returns to California to a company called NPF Tax Strategies at 151 Yorba St #200a Tustin, CA 92780*** Dave was awesome. This new owner, Tyler, not at all. You don't get anything out of him and he will send your tax returns to California to have some random people handle it. The least I have ever received and you sending my personal information completely out of your hands, which I clearly placed my trust in, is pathetic. Just another foreigner taking advantage of people. Avoid this place at all costs."
"I used Dave for my 2020 taxes and at the time he offered to help dissolve an LLC I had as part of the quote to have my taxes done. I was having issues trying to get the LLC dissolved on my own, and so that was a great relief that he could help out. He completed my taxes within a few weeks, as I recall, but the dissolution of my LLC didn't occur when my taxes were done but he said he would complete that after tax season which was fine by me. As of mid-summer (July, I think) I hadn't heard anything on the LLC dissolution so I called to check-in. He suggested there was no hurry since it could get done anytime before year-end and I'd still be fine, but it was my perception in that particular conversation he had no interest or intention of doing it which was a bit confusing to me since he had committed to doing so when I sent him my tax information the previous February. Regardless, I sought assistance elsewhere to get it closed before year-end 2021 since I couldn't afford take the risk of it not getting done. I never did hear from Dave on that topic later in the year, so he never did help with the LLC dissolution. For tax year 2021, I decided to use Dave again since he got my taxes done fairly quickly the year prior and he knew my situation and so I sent in all my information on 2/14 hoping to be towards the front of the line. After a month (around 3/14), I hadn't heard anything and so I call his office just to check-in to make sure I was still in-line and though the friendly receptionist seemed surprised I hadn't heard anything yet, she checked on me and assured me they do have my information and it will be done soon. By April 12th, I still hadn't heard anything and so I called to check-in again to see if I'm going to be done by the 4/18 deadline and Dave answers the phone and confirms that he's working on it and I'll have it in a day or two. He's friendly and confident as usual, but at this point I've turned cynical and I know he's being passive-aggressive and I'll be lucky to get them before the deadline, if at all. By 4/14 I hadn’t received anything and so I found someone else who still managed to get them done by the deadline. I don’t know what I ever did to Dave because I don't recall a bad conversation or anything but I got the message this time and so I’ve found someone else to work with going forward. My apologies to Dave for whatever it was, regardless."
