"We signed up for the camp which was five weeks. My son thoroughly enjoyed his first week. The coach only showed up to the first week. The only thing we ever heard is that it was an emergency. I tried to be understanding but never hearing from someone who you paid a sum of money for a service is not okay. There has to be accountability and responsibility as a business owner. I sent an email, made calls, and sent a text. I understand emergencies happen, at some point you have to communicate to those you serve. The camp was $300 dollars. Luckily another coach filled in, but he wasn’t affiliated with Marc and did it out of the kindness of his heart. I still paid the coach that filled in. The worst part is how much of a let down it was to the kids. Never heard a thing in three weeks. No apology. No refund. Terrible experience."

"I was very excited for my son, who's 8, to begin learning the basics of basketball. We signed up for the free session, he enjoyed it so much, he wanted to go back. After the class, we met with the coach and explained that this was his first time doing anything like this, and we knew that he was needing to start with the basics in order to start understanding the game. The coach seemed to understand, and said the 1 on 1 (which included 8 sessions) would really help him. Cool, we had no problem paying or anything. We showed up to the first 1 on 1 session, and he ended up double booking with another 1on 1 session. No biggie, brushed it off. Afterwards, we were scheduled for the following day at 3pm. We get there, and the coach isn't there. After about 10mins after 3, I texted to see if we were still practicing. He didn't reach back out until 20 mins after 3 to let me know that he wasn't coming and that he couldn't coach my son!!!!! He claims to have a lot on his plate, which is fine, but you knew this before you accepted my son. I had to explain this to my son who immediately broke down to the point of being unconsolable. He asked me what he did and why the coach didn't want to coach him. I never want another parent to experience seeing the hurt my son felt yesterday. I did my best to explain that he did nothing wrong, and that the coach took on more than he needed to, however, it didn't make him feel any better. When I did my research, I saw that he taught the basics and fundamentals that my son needed, but he didn't seem interested (or maybe he didn't have the patience) in teaching a beginner. I feel him having a lot on his plate was just an excuse to get out of it. I did receive a refund, but this is all about the principle, and being considerate and respectful of people's time and how doing something like this could affect a child's confidence. I'm glad the other reviewers had a positive outcome because we weren't as fortunate. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and this just wasn't meant to be."
