"This firm pushes high commissioned annuities, good for the seller, not good for the investor. Met with one of the owners, Jonathan Scott three times. Each time we had to wait 15-25 minutes before he was ready to see us and every proposal he presented included investing the majority of our portfolio in disguised annuities products, even though we communicated multiple times that we did not need annuities. Finally, we decided he wasn't listening, he just wanted to sell us annuities, something we didn't see as a good investment for our retirement portfolio and we cancelled our fourth meeting.
