"I had been wanting to sign up my 5-year-old son, Xander, for karate for quite some time. My mom, his grandma, helped me get this started by using the trial as a starting point for a Christmas present and I jumped at the chance. Not only is Hero Martial Arts unlike any other karate/martial arts dojo/studio around, they are the only establishment of its kind that I have come across that has the concept of family as one of their key principles. They are very family oriented. In addition to family, they also combine that with basic martial arts and above to create a rewarding experience. My son hasn't had a better time anywhere else. If you're looking for something like this to sign your child up for, look no further, Hero Martial Arts is the place to go."

"This place is fantastic. We have tried some other places that my kids were not very fond of, but they immediately fell in love with Hero Martial Arts. Sensei John is great with the kids and connects well with them. They aren’t just going through the motions like other places have seemed. They focus on balance, the proper mechanics and the reasons behind the moves down to the smaller details. They also work on guiding the kids mindsets to prepare them for their lives. We’re nearly two months in and I can tell a huge difference in discipline, focus and in our home lives. I can’t thank this place enough for helping develop my kids into great young men."

"Sensei Josh and John are amazing mentors and instructors. They are so patient and understanding of our young son (who isn't always the best listener). What we love most about this dojo is that all students who are working towards their advance belt(s) must participate in their Leadership Program. This program includes those students instructing and mentoring students with lower belts. It's so cool to see my son prosper and look up to the older students!"
