Reviews of Knoxville Family Psychiatry
"Patti is amazing, I cannot recommend this place and her services enough. Very compassionate care and always willing to work with and speak."
"Consistent admin staff are experienced with serving a variety of patients while remaining professional. Relative ease for scheduling appointments and the psychiatrists do their best to walk alongside you through medication management."
"I have been seeing Lindsey for a few months now and I am so glad I came here. My mood is more stabilized and my mental health has improved immensely. Everyone is very nice, and Lindsey is amazing! My messages are responded to very quickly, my medications are called in as soon as my appointment is done, and they are quick to contact my insurance when there’s an issue. Highly recommend!"
"This is the first facility that I tried to schedule an appointment with and I really hope to find A place that is compassionate, understanding and willing to help. The lady I spoke with insisted I tell her why I was scheduling an appointment just to tell me they are not excepting new patients. After my lengthy explanation she responds with “ okay? So you’re looking for Adderall?” I was honestly shocked by her response and tone of voice . After getting off the phone with her I questioned everything I had told her, and if not strongly recommended by my family physician I would’ve never even considered calling another facility. If you are really looking for help I strongly recommend not calling this place, besides they’re not accepting new patients. On a side-note the Womens lack of training Says a lot about the facilities standard of employees"
"Horrible service! I am an out of state student at UTK looking to switch to a psychiatrist in the state of Tennessee. I made an appointment with Knoxville Family Psychiatry at the beginning of August and the earliest date they had was a month out. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, they cancel my appointment because they "had no credit or debit or insurance card on file." I spent nearly an hour filling out all twelve pages of paperwork for my appointment and specifically remember submitting all of my insurance information. When I called to reschedule, they told me they "can't reschedule because we didn't have your debit or credit on file. So you'll have to find someone else." What kind of place is this? First off, I did submit all of my insurance information and did not see anything that said I also had to provide another form of payment. Second, every other medical provider, doctors office, urgent care clinic, etc. would tell the patient to quickly submit a form of payment before or after the appointment. I find the fact that they refused to reschedule me very unprofessional. Knoxville Family Psychiatry lacks compassion and empathy for patients and potential or future patients. Do better!"
