"I'm starting to wonder if maybe this review isn't the motivation it once was, perhaps it is time I contact the local news companies and TN consumer affairs. Update - Local Title has yet to release my earnest money and is unresponsive even though they have this whole fiduciary duty thing that should govern their actions. I can upload screenshots of emails reflecting questionable ethics, or maybe Local just does the right thing here. Local, my lawyer is waiting to hear from you... Poor communication and consistently dodges questions about the release of earnest money, nearly a month after a deal failed due to their clients refusal to complete agreed upon repairs. The company will probably threaten my title company with baseless legal action because the employees are quick to play that hand, but my review is based on the facts of a situation. Consumer beware, do your research before handing your earnest money over to Local Title. I also recommend looking into the recent (as of the time of this writing) five star reviews since some appear to be out of their office, or from their friends from JASCO. And Local, save your trite rhetoric for someone who is afraid of you. Do the right thing and let the courts sort this out."
