"Yancy Belcher is not the attorney you want to hire. I spoke to him via phone at 9:44 am (we spoke for 26 minutes). Two hours later, I called his office back and was told "he had went to lunch" ; I told the receptionist to cancel everything. He then billed me "$775.00". After reading his reviews, everything people said was happening. Price change, etc. Beware of him and his pricing. Due to me being bedridden I never stepped in his office. Just one quick phone call is all that happened."

"Mr. Belcher’s billing practices are very suspect and like other clients, we have filed a complaint with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Mr. Belcher’s billing is unclear and seems to flip flop between fixed fee and hourly billing on a whim. Along with his questionable billing practices, his communication skills are poor. Even the positive reviews of him are questionable. He receives poor reviews and then in a short period of time there is a flurry of positive reviews, some clearly written by friends. There are qualified attorneys in the Mount Juliet area and I recommend retaining one of those attorneys."
