"Dr. Bartek and staff have been wonderful. My OB referred me to her prior to the birth of my son, and we've been with her over a year now. The on call nurse is always quick to respond to voice mail messages and if necessary, Dr. Bartek has called with more information or requesting an appointment. I'm very happy to have been referred to her and as long as she's in practice, she will be my son's pediatrician."

"Don't do it. Showed no concern for continued pain and inability to walk for my child after she couldn't attend school for 3 days because her leg got worse and us going in to the office 2x after our first appointment to ask about the orthopedic appt. Her answer was she needs to go to school tomorrow. Wow really? This was a message she sent by the desk clerk. She never tried to speak to us about our childs leg getting worse or the fact that she now could barely walk without us helping her. Still has yet to call and check on how she's doing. But made the decision from in the back of the office that "she needs to go to school tomorrow". So you being a Dr are not concerned about following up or even coming out to speak to her dad & I or even saying "I want to see her again"? She gave us none of that. We left the office heated & still without the referral to the orthodpedic that "sometimes takes a week or two". We wondered how long we'd have to keep her out of school before we got the appointment. 4 days out of school, still couldn't walk and when I left the office let down over this they call me a few hours later and miraculously have the orthodpedic appt. Still haven't heard from this Dr and WE WILL NOT GO BACK."

"I normally wouldn't even waste my time to write a review nor complain but when i do... I feel that it is LEGITIMATE. I wouldn't recommend this office EVER, unless it was under any circumstance where no other choice was given. I had taken my little one to this office a total of three times, on the third appointment i scheduled a fourth appointment for a check-up... The day of our fourth appointment i had gotten a call from the office stating they needed to reschedule our appointment. Although, i was already more than halfway there). It was irritating yes but it wasn't a huge deal at all... UNTIL Three days before our FOURTH APPOINTMENT THAT THEY HAD CALLED ME TO RESCHEDULE, they had called one of the people that i had listed on the initial intake paperwork as a last basis EMERGENCY CONTACT...They Told my emergency contact that i had been rescheduling my appointments a lot, told them exactly when my child had been to the Dr. and/for what my child had been to the Dr. for...and had the nerve to ask my emergency contact if they wanted to make an appointment for my child, although i already had an appointment THE ONE THEY ASKED ME TO RESCHEDULE. I NEVER EVEN MISSED AN APPOINTMENT EVER, NOR EVER RESCHEDULED ONE. So when i had gotten a frantic phone call from my emergency contact... I was more than PISSED OFF. I WAS GOING TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AT MY APPOINTMENT... THEN A DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, THEY HAD CALLED MY SECOND EMERGENCY CONTACT AND TOLD MY SECOND EMERGENCY CONTACT THAT I'VE NEVER BEEN TO ANY OF MY APPOINTMENTS...AND SAID THEY WERE CONCERNED FOR MY CHILDS WELLBEING. THIS ISN'T APPROPRIATE, PROFESSIONAL NOR DO I APPRECIATE THEM NOT BEING ABLE TO CALL ME IF THEY FELT THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I DECIDED TO CALL A NEW OFFICE AND SCHEDULE HIM AN APPOINTMENT AND CALL THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW MY CHILD WOULDN'T BE BACK. (i had specifically asked them when filling out thus paperwork if 1 i had to list an emergency contact other than myself and 2 if i listed an emergency contact other than myself if that MEANT that thus emergency contact had any access to any of my childs medical records, info etc.) They had told me that; I HAD TO LIST TWO OTHER PERSON(S) BESIDES MYSELF BUT THAT IT DIDN'T MEAN THAT THESE PEOPLE I CHOSE TO LIST HAD ANY ACCESS WHATSOEVER TO BE ABLE TO HAVE ANY ACCESS/DECISION TO ANY OF MY CHILDS MEDICAL INFORMATION UNLESS SOMETHING WOULD'VE HAPPENED TO MY CHILD AND FOR SOME REASON TO MY HUSBAND AND I. THEY ASSURED ME THAT FOR ANY OTHER REASON THAN THAT, THEY WOULDN'T CONTACT THUS PERSON(S) I'VE LISTED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE BUT I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TAKING THIER CHILD TO A PLACE THAT CAN'T GET THEIR HEAD OUT OF THIER REAR ENDS, I'M A LITTLE SCARED FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS PRACTICE AND THE ONLY TIME THEY SHOULD'VE BEEN CONCERNED WITH MY CHILD, IS IF I WAS STILL TAKING MY CHILD HERE!!. ENOUGH SAID."
