"I had a return package from a internet purchase to return. I walked into the store and told them it was a larger box, the young man proceeded to ask me if it was larger than 48" and I told him it was close but not sure. He then told me it had to weigh less than 55lbs and be less than 48". So I went to my vehicle and measured it which it measured 46" so I picked up the box and carried it in. He then said how heavy is it i told him I'm not sure but it feels less than 55lb to me this 60 year old man just carried it in. He said that they couldn't take it so I suggested i walk down the isle and get a set of scales and weigh it for him. He said they didn't weigh items there. He then called for some girl to come up and check she picked up one end and told me it was way to heavy that i would have to carry it back out and take to another location that has full service. So I said with discust you all are pitiful they said it wasn't them that it was the FedEx policy ithe package complied with what I was told before carrying it in then the three young Walgreen employees the oldest looking maybe 30. Watched the 60 year old man carry it out of the store without offering to lift a finger to help. So sad. I'll be sure not to ever visit this place again. I went home and weighed the package as well it was 43 lbs"
"The employees at FedEx on Broadway Street in Knoxville are very polite. Took a couple boxes in that both weighed over 40 lb and they reeboks and packed it their self so that it would meet shipping standards, and you know what they didn't growl they didn't grumble they didn't gripe about it they just did it because that's their job. And I know people walk into FedEx and they gripe and complain at the FedEx employees about stuff but you know what they're only human they can only do so much. Thank you all at FedEx on Broadway in Knoxville for all that you did for me and my shipping needs."
