Reviews of Truist
"OMG! Safeyeh is Awesome! I called in with an old issue and she was on it immediately with patience and Absolute Professionalism! We really need more people like her. I really do appreciate that and I wanted to be able to share my experience! I feel better now and things was resolved quickly because of YOU! Thank you!"
"I have been trying to close my accounts with trust for 2 months now. I went in person to do it and 2 of the 3 accounts were closed successfully, but the last has lingered. Since then I've called about 5 times and there is always some weird situation excuse, that is suddenly gone the next time and replaced with another. They tell me to wait 24 hours and the account should be closed, and they'll call me back with an update. I have never gotten a call back. I just called again, and the women said there were 2 cents in my account (interest added, because they didn't close my account after I withdraw all my money) that I needed to come and pick up if I want to close the account. I asked if I really needed to, because I was fine losing the two cents and that is what I told her the 3 other times, and she said," ok, I just closed it" and HUNG UP ON ME. I fully anticipate the account not being closed. I spoke with the same women everytime and I could tell because she sounded like she hated you for calling from the moment you said "hello"- unfortunately her voice matched how she actually works. To give context, I am always nice and understanding to her, none of the attitude is earned."
"The male staff at the desk was very friendly and professional. *****However**** the banker (woman) gave me a horrible experience. She is condescending, does not make any eye contacts, expresses her annoyance towards her customers, almost throws your stuff like ID card. ****She does that to other customers too. She gives the impression that she doesn’t want to work with you and she is bothered by your presence. I am not very surprised why this branch is scored so poorly and am moving my bank. And I feel sorry for the staff."
"Besides Regions, this may be the worst bank. The people at the branch are very nice and usually helpful, but the Online Customer Service is absolutely horrible. I do not like talking negative about anyone, but trying to save some people some time and money."
"I'm not very happy that they started charging for my account. The whole reason I opened an account with them was because Vanderbilt banked for free. Definitely considering going back to my old bank. Also with all the business they get from Vanderbilt you would think they would open earlier to accommodate the people coming off of night shift. The employees are nice. But it doesn't make up for the other frustrations."
