Reviews of Goin' Postal Fairview
"Always very helpful I return all my products there to be shipped back to amazon. They are experts and will take care of everything."
"I will not return! I was shipping a small box to Oregon and I did not want to damage the box, so I asked the owner if she had anything to put in and she found an Amazon box out of her pile of used empty boxes (it's good to recycle) and it fit perfectly. Then she told me my pricing options, and it was $39.00 for a small box with a pair of shoes in it to go to Oregon (automatically gave me the highest option). I said that's way too much for this little box, don't you use USPS as an option? and she responded that she had a USPS option for $29.50, which I still felt was too high. I told her that I was going to go to the post office to see if they had a cheaper option and if not I would be back. She cut the tape on the (recycled) trash box that she put it in and took my box out of that box without saying a word to me and handed me my box back and put her box back. To say this was petty is an understatement, this is not how you win over customers. It's her business and she gets to run it how she wants, and it's my money and I get to spend it where I want and I won't spend it there ever again. I drove a mile down the road to the post office, the very nice person working the counter, who does not own the post office, gave me a box, taped it up and shipped it to Oregon for me for $19.25."
"I didn't have an Amazon return label because i wasnt given the option to print one. Lisa showed me how to print one and then did it for me, she is always so helpful when I go in the store!! I will always do my business there!!"
"I'm so glad to have a fantastic place to drop off my shipments that is centrally located and convenient, run by friendly local folks, including our fantastic new mayor Lisa Anderson! It's a terrific business for those of us who work from home without the benefit of a shipping office. Kudos!"
"Absolutely horrible! My business requires reliable shipping and I had to learn the hard way that “Going Postal” isn’t one. When I brought in my packages I confirmed with the owner (lady behind the counter) that each item that I was shipping had a description in the subject line of each email sent so that she (owner) could differentiate between my shipments. She assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. Several days later, well past the time my customers should of got their items, I start getting messages that they haven’t received them. When I called Going Postal she (owner) told me it was MY FAULT for not writing the description on the cards I included with each item. The “thank you” cards! When I reminded her of the emails sent with labels and descriptions she told me she deleted all the emails, that I should go to the post office and then hung up on me. I then drove to Going Postal and demanded my items back and I informed her of how badly this interfered with not only customer service but my income and she just smiled. Absolutely not a care in the world! I went on to the post office and was told that this is a regular complaint they hear regarding Going Postal. I can only hope now that my customers will come back again but if you want a shipping service that is more reliable stick with the local post office or a major carrier. This place does not care at all and it shows in their mannerism and inability to do simple task."
