"I encountered an Estes tractor trailer today at 3:16pm on I26E to US 74E in Polk Co, NC driving recklessly. Driver was in left lane on I26 when he changed to the right lane where a pick up truck pulling a trailer was beside him, but it did not stop him from swerving over anyway. If pickup truck had not applied their brakes they would have been hit. Your truck driver proceeded to take exit to US74E, where he still could not hold truck in his lane. The license plate on the trailer of the semi was TN 339368T."

"Decent place to work. They treat the workers decently well. The problems is they let the drivers get away with anything and they have the worst maintenance program I’ve ever seen. They are one bad wreak away from a multi million dollar lawsuit."

"Estes Express Lines in Knoxville is the equivalent of a black hole. If your package is unlucky enough to find it's way there, you're in for a long wait (my wait is currently at the four week mark). If you buy something and want to actually receive it, avoid Estes, and any company that ships through Estes."

"We were so pleased with the service we received from Estes Express Lines. I was able to talk with the scheduler at the local terminal before delivery and knew the day the shipment would be delivered. And on the day of delivery, knew the approximate time. The driver called to let us know he would be arriving in 15 minutes. It was also helpful to get an e-mail about the delivery. Seven boxes delivered and every item arrived in excellent condition. The driver was professional, polite, and kind. A great company."

"The TV I ordered from Walmart arrived today, nearly a month after the purchase date. The outer box looked awful but the inner box looked fine. We got it out carefully, following all the instructions, only to hook up the TV and see the LEDs in the screen ruined. Returning the item tomorrow. The driver was nice and helpful, but every other person at Estes sure set a new low for shipping standards. I was once told I have to wait, even though it exceeded the arrive before date, or drive roughly 3 hours to get my package. I used to think UPS was a little slack, but Estes makes them look like the gold standard. I will go through great lengths to deter people from this company. Want to see more awful reviews?
